Mosquito Control

Jefferson Parish currently contracts with Mosquito Control Services to provide a fully integrated pest management program for the control of disease vector and nuisance mosquitoes in the Parish including the municipalities (cities of Gretna, Harahan, Kenner, Westwego, and the Town of Jean Lafitte) but excluding the Town of Grand Isle, on a year-round basis. The contract is monitored by the Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs.
